
How Tatratea is made
Assam black tea leaves are the core ingredient. We macerate them slowly in cold alcohol to extract a fresh aroma, a malty taste, and a rich dark colour.
Original TATRATEA taste is a result of a perfect blend of tea, carefully selected herbs and oaken scobs. The mixtures are separately soaked in a fine spirit to release the richest aromas and flavours. Once these ingredients are blended and small particles are filltered, TATRATEA comes to life.
All good things need time. They mature together for 8 weeks in oak barrels, in which oxygen and time blends them carefully.
Reaching a perfectly balanced taste requires addition of a fine spirit, sugar, fruit distillates and first-class fruit juices. Before filling the iconic bottles, the final composition rest to harmonize flavours and aromas.
